Second, i do not like you, Alex Ford.
But know one thing, i am in love with you." RosaBella said.

Chapter 1 :>>

8th grade :>>

I growled in anger as i looked at myself in the mirror. Soda was all over my outfit and my hair.

And who's doing is this? That nutcase Alex Ford. Someday, i will get to you, mark my words.

Present, 17 years old :>>

I sighed as i walked to my school. Great.

Don't get me wrong, i'm fine with school, but when your frenemy is there...hmm.

"Heya there, Rose!" my big sister, AnnaBella came up to me from her group of cheerleaders.

"Hey, Anna!" i said. My sister has been sleeping over her friend's house for a week to plan for the Head Student for the seniors.

"Seriously, you still don't want to go for the cheerleading audition? You're really good at those flippings." she said. My sister was the head cheerleader and she's really smart and responsible.

"No thanks. Maybe next year?" i said;smiling my sweetest smile.

"Okay sure. See you at recess okay? I'm saving you a place." she said and hugged me.

I nodded and looked at her until she's gone back to her group.

Max, my buddy came up to me.

"Wassup, RosaBella?" he said; trying to get the French Accent into my name.

I giggled. He made my name sound like food. Max was my buddy. He's really hot and nice and so much of a gentleman. He likes to make jokes and he always know how to make me smile and laugh.

"C'mon. The bell had rang." he said. I laughed some more. He winked at me.

I was in a happy mood until he came into view.

"Oh great, there's Chiming Bells!" he said to his group of morons.

I stayed silent. It's first day of school, Rose, no fighting.

Why did i suddenly feel so sad when i should be feeling angry?

"Oh, see who's being the coward." he snickered.

Max glared at him. The crowd went silent. Yeah, everyone in school is scared of Max, because he's really a buff guy and he's from one of the wrestling team for our school.

Alex came over to me and spilled his honey sandwich onto my head.

Max tried to get to him but i stopped him in his tracks. I took the sandwich from my head and threw it onto the ground hard enough until he and his nutcase group had been splattered all over.

I looked at Alex's face and went away.

"Rosa!!!" i heard my beloved sister call me from the cheerleader's table.

I smiled and walked over to them.

Max followed behind;shy.

"Hi Karynn, Danea, Bets." i said;smiling. I sat beside Max on the other side of the table. Betty had sat beside Max.

"So how's the Head Student Election going?" Max said;breaking the awkward silence.

"It's going great." Danea said;blushing as she realised she was talking to Max.

Then, out of the blue, Alex came to our table.

"Hey there girls." Alex said.

No one greeted him back. Suddenly, AnnaBella stood up and faced him.

"I know what you did to my sister. You think i'll just let you go like that? Go away from our lives you selfish popular guy." she said and sat down again.

"Oo. Like i-" he started to say but stopped when all the wrestling team hovered over the cheerleaders and defended them.

"You wanna start a fight?" a huge buff guy said.

I stood up; unable to take all this in. I stood between them and hold them apart.

"Stop it! Please!" i said.

They looked at me and got back to their seats.

"I'm going to the school's garden." i said; taking my tray and walked away from the group.

Max tried to follow me but my sister stopped him. I looked at Anna and smiled as i put the food tray into the basin and went out of the canteen.

I went to my locker and took my camera and went outside.

"Hey there,Rose. Got any pictures for the news yet?" my friend, Trey stopped me.

"Well, yeah. Uh, no. Not yet. I promise i'll turn in the photos tomorrow." i said;smiling.

He nodded. "Okay, bye Bells." he said and went into his group.

I sighed as i walked to an empty bench and sat on it.

I took pictures of everything; the trees, the cheerleaders practicing, the animal lovers feeding the stray cats.

"Hey." i heard someone say and sat beside me.

"You?" i said;coldly.

Chapter 2 :

"You, Alex Ford, of all people always confuse me." i said; standing up.

Then i felt him gripping my hand.

"Can you please sit down?" he said; a little too harsh.

I sat back down.

"You better leave me alone... or.. or i'll scream." i said;threathening him.

"There is no one here, Rose." he said.

"Don't call me that!" i snapped.

Memories of my late father surged into my mind and my eyes were starting to get blur.

"I'm sorry." he said.

I stood up and walked away. He tried to get to me but before he could even catch up to me, his friends had already swarmed over him.

Why is this feeling back again?? I gulped and gripped my heart.

I took a deep breath and halfheartedly smile when i saw my sister.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

I nodded slightly.

"Come on." her friend, Savannah said.

Savannah played with my hair as we walked into school.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" Anna said as we stood by my locker.

"I'm fine. You better go, or else you'll be late." i said.

"Text me if anything happens." she said.

I nodded and waved at them as they walked away to their class.

I took my books and my camera.

First and second period, Photography.

I walked into class; the last one.

"You're-" Mrs.Bowen stopped as she saw my face.

"Go take a seat." she said; giving me a comforting smile.

"Thank you." i muttered.

I looked around and saw Max waving to me; motioning me to seat beside him.

I smiled; but my smile soon shattered as i saw that i was sitting in the middle of Max and Alex.

I sighed and walked to my place and sat.

"Okay. Now that everyone's here, we're going to go to the National Park and take pictures about nature and animals." she said.

Then, students started to get their cameras and went out of the class;following Mrs.Bowen.

"Come." Max waited by my side.

"Go save a seat for me okay?" i said as he nodded and walked away.

I took my camera and started to walk out of class when a piece of paper landed on my table.

I took it and kept it inside my pocket. Now what?

As soon as we got into the school bus to go to the National Park, i sat beside Max and ignored Alex as he walked past.

Max had already started chatting with his friends. I took out the note and started reading it :

Okay fine. Whatever. If you want to be mad at me forever, so be it. I know you hated me, so do i.

I threw it out the window and looked at it as it fluttered past the bus into the road.

"Okay, now everyone! Unbuckle your seat belts and walked out of this bus in one line." Mrs.Bowen said.

I stood up and dashed outside.

"Are you okay, Rosa?" Max said as he catch up to me.

"Yeah, i'm fine. Just really excited." i faked my giddyness but i guessed i failed to, because Max looked at me worriedly but didn't press the subject.

"Everybody, to do this assignment you have to be in groups."Mr.Zachary said; he was assisting Mrs.Bowen.

Then, they started dividing students into groups. I was with Max, Josh, Cole and Chris. Great, now i'm the only girl in this group of comedians.

"Heya, RosaBella!" Josh said.

"Don't call her that! Hi Rosa!" Cole said.

"No! Hi Bella!" Chris said; smirking.

I rolled my eyes.

"Okay whatever. But i prefer Rosa." i said;smiling.

Cole started bragging about the rightness of calling my name.

Max and i started walking into the Park without them.

I felt someone looking at me. I looked around and saw that it was Alex. A girl was getting all giddy and taking his hand and put it around her.

Sorry. he mouthed at me.

I looked away and started taking pictures of the peacocks.

"I'm going to the restroom for awhile okay?" i said to Max and walked away.

I took pictures of everything as i walked to the restroom.

That's when i heard a scream.

I'd known that scream anywhere.

I ran to the sound and saw that Alex had fallen into the nest of a sleeping lion.

"Don't scream, you girly boy!" i said.

As much as i want to watch him die; i'd prefer not.

Thank goodness i had worked here before.

I ran to the nearest stall and asked for meat.

Then, i ran to the backside door and walked into the nest.

"Max, get a rope!" i shouted. Everyone had started to panic.

Just then, the sleeping lion had awoken to the smell of the raw meat in my hands.

I grinned.

"C'mere, boy. C'mere, boy. I know you want this meat." i said;wiggling the meat in front of him.

"Now, sit down." i said. And the lion sat down.

I patted him and gave him the meat.

Then, another pregnant lioness came to me. I took another meat from my bag and gave it to her.

"Good girl." i said;giggling as i saw the shocked face of my class and Alex.

Alex had started to climb up the nest and to the safe place.

"Do you need the ropes too RosaBella?" Max shouted over the panic.

"No!" i shouted back.

I kissed the lioness and patted the lion and walked out of the nest.

Everyone stared at me;shocked.

I walked past by them.

"You okay, girly?" i asked Alex.

"I'm fine." he said harshly.

"You know, those lions are tamed. You shouldn't scream. Instead, you could just walk past the lion and into the backdoor of the nest." i said and i heard everyone stiffling in a laugh.

I walked away.

"Okay, everyone. Our trip has ended." Mrs.Bowen said. To me, she said," What you did out there is amazing. Good job. But i hoped it won't happen again in the future." she said; winking at me.

I grinned and got into the bus.

This day is really getting to my way.

Chapter 3:>>

I walked through the hall of people.

"Amazing!"

"Cool!"

"Epic!"

I smiled at everyone.

Alex was talking to his friends but looked at me as i walked past by.

He looked at me and smiled shyly.

I looked away. Is he sick or something?

"Hey." Alex said;catching up to me.

"What do you want?" i asked coldly.

"Thanks. For saving me. Yeah, i know i am really like your arch enemy, but i guess i owe you a lot." he said;smiling.

I looked away;blushing.

Then, a pretty girl came up to us.

"What are you doing with this.. person?" the girl asked in a strong French accent as she looked at me like i was trash.

"Uh. Oh, this is Denna Pinkburger. My friend." he said;hesitantly.

"His girlfriend." she said;sneering.

Just then, Max came up to us.

"Hey, Rosa." he said. Max looked at who i was talking to. "Uh. Hello." he said.

"Let's go." i muttered and walked away.

My heart was literally broken to small pieces of stinking mozarellas.

The day went on as duller. I wished that he won't be nice to that mozarella.

Because, only now, do i realize, that i am in love with Alex, my bittersweet enemy.

The next morning:

I yawned and stretched my arms; blinking off the rays of sunlight.

I got up from bed and took a bath and wore my usual white denim shorts and my long-sleeved black-white striped shirt.

Ah. It's Saturday.

Good.

A good time to relax myself.

I plopped myself back onto bed and sighed in satisfaction as the comfy pillow welcomed my head again.

"Everyone. Come downstairs quick. We have a family meeting." i heard Mom said from the intercom system set onto the walls of my room.

Ugh.Great.

I stood up and walked out of the room and went downstairs into the family area.

I looked around and saw my sister and my parents sitting on the dining table.

Then, i saw someone i didn't expect to be home.

"Jake!" i said; happy.

Jake was my eldest brother. He studied at Rome at my uncle's company.

I ran to him and hugged him.

"Heya lil sis! I had totally forgot how huge our house is." he said; ruffling my well-combed hair.

I pouted playfully at him and smoothen down my ruffled hair.

"Okay, now guys. We have a family meeting." my dad reminded me again about why we were there.

I looked at my parents sheepishly as i hesitantly sat down onto the couch beside my sister.

"So, the reason we're all here is-" my mom started to say when i said,"Family meeting." i repeated.

"Yes, it is a family meeting. There is a bad news." my father said.

"What?" Jake asked;worried.

"Your mom-. Well, your mom is having a brain cancer. And she's getting sicker every day." my father said; sad.

We looked at mom. I never noticed; she did look pale and sick, there were dark shadows under her eyes.

"No. No, this can't be." i muttered and knelted in front of my mom and put my head onto her lap.

"Honey, i know this is unexpected and grieving, but i know you could be strong, like you were when you were just a child. Be strong for me, my loves." she said.

AnnaBella was crying beside me as she held mom's hands and Jake was shocked; unable to move from the couch.

I took a deep breath.

First, Alex. Now, my mom. How much more worse could this life be?

I looked up at my beautiful mom as she took off her wig.

"I will always be strong for you, mom."i said;hugging her.

Then, Jake and Anna joined our group hug;followed by my dad.

"I love you mom." we said in unison.

Chapter 4:>>

I drove my car to the nearest Diner. I looked around.

There were so many people from my school.

What will they say when they see me here?

I sighed. Oh, who the heck cares what they think.

I locked my car door and went into the Diner.

I saw the cashier doing his work. I got up to him.

He looked up.

"Alex?" i said;shocked.

He smirked half-heartedly.

He was wearing a plain white t-shirt and a red cargo shorts. He had his cap turned around.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I, well, i came here to work." i said hesitantly.

"Oh goodie." he said and got back to work.

I sighed in frustationa and walked away into the changing room.

I got out of my clothes and wore my knee shorts jeans and the same plain white t-shirt.

I had my hair loose.

Just as i was about to walk to the cash register, another employee stopped me.

"Cap." he said.

I sighed and took it and wore the cap facing behind.

Alex looked at me with his mouth popped open.

He started to say something when i said,"Shut it." and blushed.

I walked to the take-away stand.

"Yes, may i help you?" i asked in the intercom thingy.

"Oh, is that you, chiming bells?" the girl asked from the intercom. I'd recognize that mozarella anywhere.

Denna Pinkburger.. or is it Cheeseburger?

Uh, now i'm hungry.

"Yes, what do you want, cheesburger? Oh sorry, i meant denna." i simply said.

"I want a medium-sized french fries and an apple pie so you'd get splat on that face of yours." she said.

"What's your problem?" i said. Honestly, my temperamental is at the maximum level.

"Are you okay, Rosa?" i heard someone said close behind me until i could feel his warm breath.

"Alex?" me and Denna said at the same time.

"Yea, it's me, cheeseburger. Now you better order before we ask the guards to bail you away." he said;harshly.

I could see Denna's facial expression. She looked sad and shocked and yet angry at the same time.

"I'll do it for you. You go rest first." he said.

I slightly nod and walked out of the stand.

I looked at my wristwatch.

It's already going to be nighttime.

I changed out of my clothes and went outside.

Just then, i saw Denna crying in her car.

Satisfaction surged into me, then guilt, then sad and worry.

I hesitantly walked over to her and got into her car.

"Are you okay, Denna?" i asked.

"What are you doing here? I'm fine thank you very much." she said.

I hugged her.

"Just let it out." i said.

She started sobbing hysterically in my arms.

Alex had came out of the shop and frozed when he saw me hugging my future enemy.

He waited by my car. What is he doing? I let go of her.

"Why are you so nice to me?" she said.

I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it again.

"Because, i am your friend. I don't want enemies, you know. I want everyone to befriend me. Because my life is already miserable." i said.

"Miserable? But you have a huge mansion and 8 cars and a happy family." she said obliviously.

"The mansion and the cars are due to my parents, not me. If my family's rich, it doesn't mean i am too. All the richness came from the hardwork of my parents. I don't work and get such money. I am just their kid. And yes, i do have a happy family, but now my mom is having brain cancer." i said.

"I'm sorry." she said;looking down.

"It's okay. Why are you crying by the way?" i asked; careful not to let any words that might make her mad.

"Alex broke up with me." she said; gulping on her tears.

"Oh, i'm sorry. Do you want to sleep over at my house? So you can feel better." i said;smiling a true smile.

She smiled happily and nodded.

"You can leave your car here, my brother'll get it for us." i said.

"Thank you." she muttered.

I smiled again.

We got out from her car and locked it and walked to my car.

"I'm sorry, Alex." Denna said and got into my car.

Alex looked at me in guilt. I smiled and quickly peck his cheek.

I got into the driver's seat.

Denna had already slept.

Alex stared at the ground;shocked.

I drove away to the same lane i used to get to my house.

I knew, that now, Alex and me had become the best of friends.

I hope.

Chapter 5:>>

"Denna, wake up. We're here." i said;shaking her shoulders gently.

Denna yawned and rolled over; sleeping again.

I giggled.

I took out my phone and dialed my brother's number.

"I need help picking up some stuffs. Come quick. I'm outside." i said.

"Sure."

I disconnected the call.

I giggled. "A human to be exact." i smiled and evil smile.

Just then, my brother came out of the house with only wearing his cargo shorts.

Dang, is Denna gonna be shock when a shirtless guy picks her up to my room.

I got out of the car.

"My friend's feeling miserable today, so would you please be kind enough to bring her to my room? I'm not really strong you know." i said;punching his abs.

"Ouch.What are you made of? Boulders?" i said; holding my injured hand.

Jake smirked and picked Denna up easily.

We got up to my room.

Jake had put her onto another of my bed.

"Thanks, Jakie.Goodnight." i said;hugging my brother.

I closed the door.

"Oh.My. God!!! Did Jake Knightley just pick me up to your room?" she said;squealing with happiness.

Uh oh. I turned around slowly and grinned slyly.

"Do you like my brother?" i said as i sat on the foot of her bed.

"Like? Crazily in love is more like it." she said;oblivious.

Awkward silence.

Then, we squealed with happiness.

We started talking about everything; about myself, about Denna.

We laughed all night until our throats become sore and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning:>>

I was preparing breakfast when Denna came downstairs and saw my bald mother.

Denna smiled and hugged her.

"You look beautiful today, Mrs.Knightley."she said sincerely.

"You remind me of my mother all the time." Denna continued.

My mom smiled. "How is your mom?" she asked.

Denna's smiling face turns sad."She passed away." she said.

Jake walked up to her and gave her a chocolate bar like he used to when i was sad or mad.

Denna half-smiled."Thanks." she took it.

Ting! the cupcakes are ready. I took it absentmindedly.

"Ow!" i said. I quickly rinsed my hand.

Suddenly another pair of hands helped to cool down my hand.

"Alex? What are you doing here?" i asked; walking backwards.

"Your brother called me to have breakfast with your family. Then, when i came here, your hand is injured." he said;smiling.

I shot a sharp glare at my brother.

"I'm sorry, i'm just a little boy." Jake said;making an innocent face.

"Fine." i said to my brother. "You better not make my mornings miserable." i whispered to him.

"Fine!" he said; giving up.

I wore my cooking glove and put the cupcakes on the counter for it to cool down.

Alex and me glared at each other.

"Breakfast is ready." i said.

Alex sat beside my brother on the other end of the table while me and Denna sat on our end of table.

My mom giggled. "Jake, Rose. We're going to move to Timor Leste." my mom said.

Just then, our sister came down.

"I'm so so sorry. I had something to do upstairs. What did i miss?" she said;sitting down at the empty chair that separates us and Alex.

"We're moving to Timor Leste." me and my brother said in unison.

"Wow! Like seriously?" Anna asked my mom.

"Seriously, serious, you seriously-talking daughter." my mom said; teasing my 'always-seriously' sister.

I giggled.

Mixed up feeling are felt in me. Happiness, excited and sad.

I looked at Alex. He looked sad.

"Can i go take a walk mom? Just at the backyard." i said;standing up.

"Want me to follow you?" Denna asked.

"No, never mind." i said;smiling.

I walked out of the house into my backyard; knowing that the person would follow me.

I sat on the grass; enjoying the view of the man-made lake.

"I am confused of our relationship. I've lost track of it already." Alex said;sitting beside me.

"Me too."i muttered.

"Well, what do you think is our level?" he asked.

My bittersweet love.

"I don't know" i put my hand into the lake water." Enemies?" i splashed the water at Alex and ran away with him chasing me.

I laughed like crazy.

I didn't realize Denna was watching us;smiling.

She cleared her throat.

"Um, your mom asked me to tell you to pack because the flight's in an hour.I'm going to miss you, new friend." she said; holding out her hands.

I smiled and hugged her.

"I'm going to miss you too." And Alex.

"C'mon. I'll help you pack." she said.

Denna and me held hands and skipped up the stairs like kindergarteners.

As soon as we are already in my room, i closed and locked the door.

"Denna, would you be mad if i tell you this?" i said; looking at the floor of my room.

"That you're in love with Alex?" she said;smiling.

"H-how do you know?" i asked.

Alex's P.O.V:

I sighed in frustation as she went away with Denna.

Then, i went to Jake's room.

"What's up dude?" i said.

Jake was relaxing on his bed.

He looked up at me slyly.

"You love her don't you?" he asked.

Dang.

"Who? There's so many her in this house. There's-" i started to say when Jake simply said,"RosaBella." he smirked.

"What would you do if i say i do love her?" i said.

Jake jumped up from his bed and made a victory dance.

Oh, no.

Did i just say that??

"Bye, Alex. Have fun here." the Knightleys said.

I smiled and waved at them as they went onto the plane.

Denna waved happily and yet sadly at Rosa beside me.

I glared at her. "Are you sick or something?" i asked.

Denna rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah." she said.

"Here." she hand me a piece of paper and walked away.

I looked at it questioningly. I read it:

Hey, Alex.

Goodbye. I,uh, i'm going to miss you and your antics.

I just want to make something clear:

First of all, my name is RosaBella, not Chiming Bells.

Second, i do not like you, Alex Ford.

But know one thing, unfortunately i am irrevocably and crazily in love with you.

I frozed in my place and read the note over and over again.

I grinned and looked at the airplane that hasn't took off.

Rosa smiled at me from her seat and waved at me.

I promise you, Rosa, i will be with you someday.

Chapter 6:>>

I was lying on the mat at the beach; catching some rays.

Children played by the beachside and couples cuddle under a tree.

"Hey there." someone said behind me.

I sat up and looked behind.

Alex??

"Alex? Oh my God!" i said; standing up and hugged him.

"How did you know i'm here?" i asked.

"Jake Knightley. Know that guy?" he asked in an investigative kind of way.

I giggled and gimicked his tone as i say,"Of course. He's the most devious criminal i've ever known." i said.

We stared at each other for a while and laughed at our investigative joke.

"Wanna have lunch with me?"Alex asked.

I nodded vigorously.

God, i can't believe that me and my archenemy are like couples. Is this for real??

Alex Ford looked at me and smiled at me as he locked my hand in his.

Then, we skipped off to the nearest seafood stall like two children who just got their favorite ice cream stock for a year.

Alex was at home, and i was at East Timor Kindergarten where i was working at.

Loren came up to me;crying.

I picked her up;shocked.

"Are you okay, Loren?" i asked. Thank God this kindergarten was a compulsory English kindergarten.

"I think i bwoke my hand. I fell down the staycase." she said.

Then, i walked to the first-aid room and started to check her hand in the x-ray.

"Ewww!! Why is there a skeleton?" she said and started crying.

I hugged her.

"No, no. That's just your hand. It loves you and won't hurt you, okay?" i said to comfort her. Uh, what did i just say??

"Hello there, Loren." i heard a familiar voice.

I stood up with Loren in my hands and smiled.

"Hi Alex." I said to Alex. To Loren,"Say hi to Mr.Weirdo." i said and muffled my giggle.

"Hi, Mr.Weirdo." she said; flashing her toothy grin.

Alex narrowed his eyes and dashed to Loren and started to run around the room like and airplane; but with wings paralysed by a 6 year old girl.

I laughed looking at them

Crash!

I gasped.

Loren wasn't injured but Alex was; with all the cuts and bleeds.

I took Loren from Alex and sat her down onto the rocking horse and took Alex's arm and sat him down onto the patient's bed.

"Now let me see that cut, little boy," i said;smirking. Alex rolled his eyes and moaned in pain as i rinsed his two hands into a pail of icy cold water.

Then, i put some anti-infection cream onto it and bandaged it up.

I took a lollipop from my pocket and hand it to Alex and grinned.

"Just for you." i said;winking and stood up.

"Right." he said and hand it out to Loren.

"Yay! Two wollipops!" she squealed in excitement and hugged Alex's leg.

He chuckled.

I shook my head;smiling and picked her up.

"C'mon. Let's go draw fairies." i said and set her down as we reached the entrance of the kiddies' classroom.

She ran happily into the classroom and joined her friends. She looked at me and smiled.

I smiled and waved.

I was making dinner when my brother dashed downstairs;frantic.

"There's a fire upstairs!" he said; taking the fire tank and running back upstairs.

Shock surged through me.

There was no one else other than me and my brother.

I grabbed the phone and called the fire fighters.

I ran outside and shivered in franticness.

Jake.

I stood back up and started to run back to my house when it collided down onto the hard island dirt.

I fell down onto my butt.

"Jake. No, no. JAKE!!" I yelled frantically.

I watched in shock as the fire burnt down the house.

A few minutes later the fire fighters came.

Everything looked so sad and tragical.

I cried my heart out.

As soon as the fire stopped, i ran to the scene and pushed through the fire fighters.

There, laying motionless on the floor of ashes, was the burnt body of my beloved brother.

I fell onto my knees and put my brother onto my lap.

My tears were drifting down my cheeks swiftly.

"Jake. Please, don't leave me yet." i said;gently. My voice was flooded in pain and tragic.

I've lost hope in my life.

Then, i felt heartbeats from my brother's chest.

"C-call the ambulance!!" i said and swiftly everything turns to a chaos of hope.

Chapter 7:>>

I am now standing in a hospital ward; hoping for the best.

Alex stood by my side; silent while my parents were grieving.

My sister was speechless and shock as she ran her hands through my brother's hair.

My brother looks worn out and black due to the smoke from the fire.

I silently brushed my index finger on his soft cheeks.

Suddenly, he slowly opened his eyes, trying to orient himself.

"Where am i?" he asked;sitting up. "Ow." he said and laid back down onto the bed.

"Oh Jake!" i said;hugging him.

Everybody started group hugging.

Jake chuckled as we all let go of him.

"Am i dead already?" he asked teasing.

We all laughed.

I was playing with the children at the hospital; one of my job whenever i have a free time.

"Adrian! Howard! Stop fighting." i said; holding them both in my two hands.

"He took my wollipop! I saw it first!" Adrian said.

"I took it first! Not yew!" Howard said.

I sighed. Typical fights.

I put them down.

"No fighting, okay? Wait, Adrian." i said.

I reached into my pocket and gave Adrian a lollipop.

"Now it's fair and square isn't it? Now, Howard,Adrian, say sorry to each other." i said;smiling encouragely.

"I'm sowwy."they both said to each other.

Then, they started playing like two bestfriends back again.

I chuckled. Kids and their 'wollipop' fights.

"Okay, everyone. Do you want to hear a story?" i said to them as i sat on the chair in the middle of the room.

They grew silent. I heard giggles.

"What?" i asked;confused.

"Behind yew." Lucial said.

I looked behind and saw a huge mouse with a guitar in his or her hands.

"Alex?" i said. I had looked into the eyeholes and saw that it was Alex. I'd known Alex's pari of eyes anywhere.

He winked at me and started singing You And Me from Lifehouse.

I covered my mouth with both of my hands and my eyes started to get blurry.

I smiled and put my hand over my heart.

"Awww!" the children say while Alex sang the song to me.

"I love you, Anna." he said as a boy came up to him and took his guitar for him.

"I love you too.' i said and hugged him.

Then, children swarmed around us; group hugging.

Alex chuckled and hugged every children there.

I smiled as i look at Alex playing with the kids.

He looked at me staring at him and smiled as he locked my hands in his.

This is my story. My end. I have my ex-archenemy, my loving family and these kids swarming over us.

This is it, my bittersweet love.

And did i say that i love him?

Gosh, i'm such a dork!!
